The farm is comprised of several sites: a one-acre organic vegetable garden, agroforestry systems, nursery, orchard, poultry and beekeeping. A mature orchard of macadamia nuts, avocados, tangelos, mangoes, starfruit is one of the farms most established features. In addition to vegetables, HIP focuses on growing and sharing traditional Hawaiian, Polynesian, and other tropical crops such as Ginger, Kalo (Taro), ‘Olena (Turmeric), Cassava, Breadfruit, Coconut, Durian, Papaya, Noni, Kava, and a dozen or more varieties of banana.
You can also find us vending weekly on Saturdays at the Hawi Farmer's Market.
